Henry just left for a job interview wearing the exact same clothes he got married in three and a half years ago. I, of course, only wore my wedding dress once. Someone seriously should work on the rewearability of wedding clothes for women. Just sayin’.

i agree. i’ve tried to think about what i could do with my wedding dress. it was fairly simple but with a couple areas of cool beading. and is it horrible to say that i’m not opposed to cutting it up to use for various things??
is yours dye-able? or is that too horrible, too?
I don’t know what to do about it. every time I contemplate turning it into something else I remember that both my sisters are still single and might be interested… beading would definitely present some creative options, though.
seems to me there’s also cora to think of… though that sure never happened for my dress. maybe after the sis’s are married, if no one uses it, that quilt idea might come up again… hmm.
Nice parlance — just stumbled upon this via FB. BE-YOU-TI-FUL picture by the way.
aw, hi Monique! It’s been a long time. I’ve enjoyed seeing you and Jeremy and your little guy on facebook… hope things are well.
cut it off to knee length, take the skirt in a skoch, and dye it black. – voila. little black dress.
A beautiful gal named Becca from camp just tried mine on and will be wearing it in August….I am so honored and pleased it will get a second showing!!!! I knew there was a reason it was taking up 1/2 the children’s closet!!
oh, and six weeks is a little too long of a bloggin’ break. i know you have something to say….
