not dead yet… I’m getting better!

I just wanted to say: I haven’t abandoned the abernathy blog.  I promise.  We made it to Oregon, with lots of interesting pictures and anecdotes that make tee-rific blog material, but I can’t find the damn camera cord and I think it’s uncouth to blog without pictures, which is easily half of the fun.  Whenever we find the cord (which is “Somewhere” in the garage in all the boxes at my parents’ house where we’re camping out) I’ll book it to the coffee shop, connect to the wifi and get all caught up.
